Pastor Jeanette Coats or Pastor J, as she's affectionately called, serves with her husband, Apostle Duane I. Coats as Pastor of Word of Faith Christian Fellowship Church located in northern Virginia. The two are a dynamic duo together in ministry. They have four children: Moneka, Duane Jr. & Lakisha, Samone, and Shamika & Zach; and four grandchildren: Duane III, Jordan, Sarai and Samuel. She enjoys being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She adores her husband and says, "He is my best friend and companion." She respects him highly and says he is a great example of a man of God, loving her as Christ loves the church; in addition, he is an extraordinary father and grandfather to their children and grandchildren.

        With an evangelistic ministry that expands over three decades, she is at the height of her walk with the Lord in ministry. She ministers with a powerful anointing, uncompromising preaching, teaching, correcting, and winning souls to the kingdom. She often refers to the Prophet Jeremiah, because it was the book of Jeremiah where the Lord took her when he called her to ministry.

        Pastor J, has a compassionate heart for the people of God, especially His women. Initially, when God spoke to her about organizing a women's retreat, she thought surely He was speaking to the wrong person. However, she has seen numerous women blessed through annual events sponsored by Breaking Barriers Ministries (BBM).  Although preparation for these events takes time, prayer, trials, tribulation, and effort, she knows that she is in the will of God. She has seen first-hand how women from all over the country are being touched by this ministry.  She has shared the pulpit with other great speakers and teachers of the gospel, including Dr. Ronn Elmore, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Cheryl Martin (formerly of BET) and Pastor Brenda Timberlake of Gospel Today.

        In 2002, the Lord birthed Breaking Barriers Ministries, Inc. through her. When God spoke to her concerning BBM, He said He was preparing her for a greater anointing. Many men and women of God have told her about the work the Lord has ordained for her, but this time she heard audibly from the Lord himself have told her. God gave her Isaiah 45:1-3 and BBM's theme scripture is Hosea 10:12.

        She is the Regional Director of Women of Power, Inc. under the direction of Dr.  BJ Relefourd.  

        Pastor Jeanette Coats was installed as Pastor in February, 2011. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education. She travels in the ministry and is an anointed and sought after preacher and teacher of the Gospel.
